Why you should always say YES to a festival

At the end of August I went to Lollapalooza festival in Paris. What should I say? It was a blast! It might sound a little cheesy, but a good festival gives you so much motivation, happiness and love, you should go whenever there is the opportunity to. So today I give you three reasons why you should always say YES to a festival. But before I want to give a little disclaimer and background story: I already wrote this post a few weeks ago and it should have been the best post of all the Paris related ones. I loved my outfit and the photos and of course it is simply nice to write about a fabulous experience. Unfortunatley my boyfriend lost his new iPhone, which had all the festival photos on it (No there was no back-up, because the cloud was already bursting). I could (and I literally did) cry! I danced around the festival in my brandnew Castaner Espadrilles the whole day (everything for the blog :D), ruined them due to a rainy surprise (cried about that, too) and at the end was left with three blurry shitty photos my boyfriend sent me via whatsapp before. But luckily yesterday we realized the photos were on our iPad all along! And I almost cried a third time, but in happiness (finally). So now I can show you what I wore at Lollapalooza Paris, yaaay!

Was soll ich sagen?

What to wear this Autumn

Finally this shitty pitiable "summer" is over and autumn is coming. Even though it was here since May to be honest. But now I can stop complaining and actually get excited for the chilly weather and the cozy sweater (rhyme not intended). What I really like about getting dressed at this time of the year is that you can wear a lot of layers but it is still warm enough so that you can show what's underneath your coat. Soon it will be so freezing cold that I turn into a little warm ball with ugg boots and a jon-snow-like coat. But until then, let's celebrate the golden light of autumn. And burn a goddamn pumpkin spice candle (or ten).

Paris Mon Amour

On our third day in Paris, we had really nice weather and we decided to visit Montmartre. It was the hottest day of our trip so it was extra beautiful there. On holiday I always want to make sure to see all the stunning places the city has to offer. But also sometimes it is exhausting to stand in line for hours and spend a good amount of money to get a glimpse of a painting or a church between other tourists heads. Montmartre is the perfect in between because of course there are a lot of tourists and souvenir shops but you find a calm little spot if you're just trying hard enough. We ended up in a little restaurant which was super cute - my pasta was shit to be honest though - but France is not famous for it's pasta, isn't it? And luckily it was the only time I ate something level: not-even-near-a-Michelin-star. But all this is forgiven when you see all the instagramable (most important thing) places in Montmartre. The stunning Sacre Coeur in all black and white, all these super cute little houses and the street art everywhere.
