Love at second sight

When trying on something my first reaction often is "I don't like this on me". Hence I mostly online-shop so I can try the things on a couple times on different days before I figure out what I keep and what gets sended back. Today I want to show you a dress, that was love at second sight. When I got this dress in the SALE section on Zalando - my favourite section of course - I wasn't sure about the wide cut. Why look bigger wearing a dress on purpose? I mean, I could save all the money from the gym membership fee and buy more bags. But I decided that I love the oversized fit and the silhouette, even though it is a little sack-ish , like my Dad would say.

Wenn ich etwas das erste Mal anprobiere ist meine erste Reaktion oft "Gefällt mir nicht an mir". Deshalb shoppe ich meistens online, damit ich die Sachen mehrmals an verschiedenen Tagen anprobieren kann, bevor ich mich endgültig entscheide, was ich behalte und was zurückgesendet wird. Heute möchte ich ein Kleid vorstellen, das Liebe auf den zweiten Blick war. Als ich das Kleid im Sale - Lieblingswort - bei Zalando geschossen habe, war ich mir erst wegen des weiten Schnitts unsicher. Man will ja nicht freiwillig dicker aussehen, als man ist. Dann könnte ich mir den Beitrag für's Fitnessstudio sparen und lieber in mehr Taschen investieren. Aber ich habe mich wirklich in das oversized Kleid und die Silhouette verliebt - und das, obwohl es etwas sackig aussieht, wie mein Papa sagen würde.

The best thing about this dress is, that you can eqasily wear it to different occasions. And of course it is hella comfortable aswell. It is made from cotton and - unfortunatley - acrylic, but it doesn't feel like it. If anything it feels very high quality. I also really like the turtleneck, because when it's freezing cold in german spring and you wear the dress without tights, at least you have a warm neck, so you don't end up feeling like Elsa. (Get it? Frozen, ha...)

Das beste an dem Kleid ist, dass es sich super leicht zu verschiedene Anlässen kombinieren lässt und mega bequem ist es noch dazu. Es ist aus Baumwolle und - leider - auch Acryl, aber es fühlt sich nicht so an. Im Gegenteil, macht der Stoff einen qualitativ hochwertigen Eindruck. Außerdem gefällt mir der Rollkragen sehr gut, weil es auch im Frühling teilweise noch super kalt in Deutschland ist und man nur auf die Strumpfhose verzichten kann, wenn wenigstens der Hals schön warm bleibt. Nicht dass man am Ende zu Elsa wird. (Hallo Flachwitz...)

I also took a little black letaher jacket with me, to throw over when I get a little cold. In the end it - luckily - wasn't necessary, because the sun decided to koin the party. I think a black leather jacket is a staple for any wardrobe, because you can easily dress down a fancy dress and make it a tiny bit more Rock 'n' Roll. Plus, they are quite sexy, aren't they?

Außerdem habe ich noch eine schwarze Lederjacke dabei, die man sich mal schnell überwerfen kann, wenn es doch etwas kälter wird. Zum Glück hatte sich die Sonne aber dafür entschieden, doch noch aufzutauchen und deshalb brauchte ich sie gar nicht. Eine schwarze Lederjacke gehört für mich zu den absoluten Must-Haves, weil man damit jedem Kleid ganz schnell eine Note Rock 'n' Roll verpassen kann. Außerdem sind sie auch immer ein bisschen sexy, oder nicht?

The Overknees are from Miss KG by Kurt Geiger and they have a really nice height, so I can walk in them for a whole day. I think overknees are a little tricky, because they either look like you're full on Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (which is not a bad thing, but maybe not office appropriate) or just like some really weird tights, when the heel is not high enough. The only issue I find with these is that they are made of faux suede and I would have preferred real leather. Luckily I got them for half the price, because the original price is way too expensive for the quality you get.

Die Overknees sind von Miss KG by Kurt Geiger und haben die perfekte Absatzhöhe, so dass ich darauf den ganzen Tag laufen kann. Overknees sind immer ein bisschen kompliziert finde ich, da sie entweder aussehen wie bei Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman (was nicht schlecht ist, aber eventuell nicht Büro geeignet) oder wie eine seltsame Strumpfhose, wenn der Absatz zu flach ist. Das einzige, was mich an den Stiefeln wirklich stört ist das Material, denn sie sind aus Kunstwildleder und ich hätte lieber echtes Leder gehabt. Zum Glück habe ich sie damals zum halben Preis gekauft, denn der Originalpreis ist meiner Meinung nach zu hoch für die Qualität, die man kriegt. 

Do I really have to say something about my bag? Probably not, but I have to, I'm sorry! It - again - is my wonderful beloved black Pochette Métis from Louis Vuitton. It just always goes with everything and I can fit all my stuff in it, even though it looks quite small, it is really roomy.

Muss ich wirklich noch etwas über meine Tasche sagen? Wahrscheinlich nicht, aber ich kann nicht anders. Es ist mal wieder meine wundervolle schwarze Pochette Métis von Louis Vuitton. Sie passt einfach immer und ich bekomme all meinen Kram hinein, denn obwohl sie nicht so groß aussieht, ist sie sehr geräumig.
